Nokesville was a microwave junction station. A 1970 route map shows the station having routes going south to Morrisville, northwest to Haymarket and north to Aldie.
Nokesville is no longer in service as an AT&T communications facility. It is currently owned by American Tower Corporation, which leases space at the site to cellular telephone carriers and other wireless services.
