I found the Chappell tower construction interesting as the top platform is rotated 45 degrees from the square foundation of the tower. It appears to be a vertical extension of the original tower. The transition starts near the lower horns where red changes to white. The four-leg tower becomes an eight-leg structure and eventually evolves into the four-leg rotated platform.
