Gray Summit was a repeater and/or junction station on the microwave radio loop around St. Louis. Its principal structures are two steel-lattice towers and a concrete equipment building.

Gray Summit is no longer operational as a microwave station, and its horn-reflector antennas and associate waveguides have been removed.. Its towers now host antennas for cellular telephone service.
