This hut is located on the east side of Rt. 202, just north of the I-95 interchange and south of Rt. 141, near the Porter Reservoir.
The building's style suggests that it was a coaxial cable (L-carrier) or wire-pair carrier repeater. The faint black lettering "FT" on the door indicates that the hut was converted to a fiber-optic regenerator station, possibly on AT&T's first "Lightguide" route. FT was the designation for AT&T's early fiber-optic systems.
