The AT&T Long Lines network in Illinois included microwave stations named Odell No. 1 and Odell No. 2. It is believed that the station pictured and described here is the No. 1 site.
A 1970 route map shows Odell No. 1 having microwave paths going north-northwest to the station having CLLI code NRWYILNO; northeast to Manteno, IL, and south to Saybrook, IL. Each of the paths was equipped with a pair of KS-15676 horn-reflector antennas (one for each direction of transmission), and a single conical horn reflector for space-diversity reception.
