New Orleans, LA

The KS-15676 horn-reflector being prepped for hoist. Note the shadow of the 14-edge blinder used to suppress major side lobes at 30-degrees off-axis to main beam (this was not a new antenna, but may have been pulled from the AT&T C.O. in downtown New Orleans). Also note the unpainted iron on the tower. The tower required substantial rework for the added wind-load of new side platform and antenna (this is hurricane country); this must have been done on a very calm day.
