K-Carrier Repeater: Ottawa K1E

Morris was an unmanned repeater station on the K-carrier (wire-pair long-haul analog carrier) route which ran west from Chicago. The repeater is located between the Minooka, IL repeater (Ottawa K2E) to the east and the manned station at Ottawa, IL to the west. Morris also had a wire-pair carrier "spur line" to the Norway, IL Regional Center.

The Morris repeater's coordinates are 41-22-14N, 88-31-59W.
